Pop star loses nearly S$2mil at MBS
Celebrity Gambler
Taiwanese pop star Jay Chou lost nearly S$2mil at Marina Bay Sands Casino in Singapore, Nanyang Siang Pau reported. The superstar had visited the casino during his concert tour in the republic last month. He gambled off between S$100,000 and S$200,000 per bet. In just two days, Chou lost almost S$2mil playing bacarrat. A customer of the casino said Chou was accompanied by his manager and male friends. According to the customer, Chou had good etiquette on the gambling table and he only wanted to be served by ‘aunties’.
Singapore’s biggest loser?
Apparently Jay Chou isn’t the biggest loser in Singapore as a local Singaporean man lost S$26mil in a three-day gambling spree at the casino in Resorts World Sentosa (RWS). The unlucky gambler plans to sue the casino for loaning him a huge sum of money to gamble without first checking his financial position. The businessman is director of Far Ocean Sea Products, a seafood processing and trading company operating out of Fishery Port Road in Jurong. According to a legal document, the man was loaned S$500,000 for gambling by the casino in March and the loan was later increased to S$2mil the following month. When his losses exceeded S$4mil, his girlfriend cried and begged the casino not to loan him any more money but in spite of that, the casino staff told him that he could continue getting loans although he had exceeded the credit limit.

marina sand Singapore casino is very good building and furniture and slot machine but the services is very very bad….have you seen in your life casino without bar and ATM machine
even where they make music there is no bar you have to order and when you are in the casino table and you want to drink you have to ask the waiter if you find him ..and if you are Lucky you have to wait more than 30 minutes to get your drink..why they dont open bar and keep it easy for every body to have his drink
plus if you want to get money from ATM machine you to go out from casino passing security checking your passport just to get money and return back with same security proceeger
why they don’t keep this 2 services easy and inside the casino like venetian macaua and all the casino over the world
